Talk:Bayham Old Abbey
Appearance
Title
[edit]I edited some of the lax terminology/history in this article, but managed to delete the picture in the process. I'm no Wiki expert, so if someone could make it reappear then that would be good. Also, i have no idea about how to change the title of this entry, but the 'old' seems entirely superfluous... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.146.253.211 (talk) 21:31, 4 April 2008 (UTC)
- Bayham Old Abbey is the official name given by the owners English Heritage [1] so I think it should be kept as old. Although sources are split between calling it Bayham Abbey and Bayham Old Abbey. The etymology of the name seems to relate to the residence rather than the abbey, the abbey becoming associated with the old house. MortimerCat (talk) 14:47, 19 April 2008 (UTC)
Location
[edit]Bayham Abbey actually stands in East Sussex. I've tweaked the lede and amended the categories accordingly. Mjroots (talk) 15:28, 15 October 2010 (UTC)
