Tetovo is not the second-largest city, that would be Bitola (2002 census: http://www.stat.gov.mk/Publikacii/knigaX.pdf). Albanians make up around 54% of the population of the city of Tetovo not 80% or 90% (see same link). I'm not sure why I reverted the rest, that can stay. --Local hero talk 04:18, 26 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Keep the change i made

It was clearly an Albanian victory, just like the Ohrid Agreement Lols314 (talk) 21:30, 9 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

yes it's kinda true, the ohrid agreement decided that the Albanians got equal rights and made their language official and that's what the rebels wanted in the end of the day so it can be counted as an NLA Victory in the end of the day AcEagle12 (talk) 21:33, 9 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hello. Do you have any reliable sources which consider the battle a rebel victory? Our personal opinions when it comes to the result don't matter. The infobox is a summary of the article's body and the result needs to reflect that. In the meantime, I advise self-reverting and to not restore the change unless you get consensus, because you're on the verge of violating WP:3RR. StephenMacky1 (talk) 21:47, 9 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yes the wiki article on the Ohrid agreement clearly states that Albanians gained rights, and autonomy like Albanian language being considered a official language of Macedonia. Furthermore, the recent election of an Albanian to presidency is proof in itself Lols314 (talk) 21:49, 9 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
All right. So Lols314, since you're new here, I'd advise on checking WP:RS, WP:V and WP:OR. Here on Wikipedia, the content is based on sources. Other Wikipedia articles cannot be used as sources, even though the article you're referring to does not interpret the result of the conflict as a rebel victory. Whenever you want to add or change content, you have to be prepared to cite sources too. StephenMacky1 (talk) 22:09, 9 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
the sources are already there, there, every gunbattle that happened during the battle of Tetovo is an NLA or ANA victory for example like the Vejce ambush or Gajre Ambush or Lisec ambush and the others so it's logical that it's an NLA victory AcEagle12 (talk) 22:12, 9 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
We are talking about the battle of Tetovo here. Unless you have any reliable sources that directly back the result, it cannot stay, since it is WP:OR and violates WP:MILMOS#INFOBOX too. All I'm seeing here is personal opinions. StephenMacky1 (talk) 22:19, 9 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
all those gunbattles we're a part of the battle of Tetovo so it's only logical that it was an NLA victory AcEagle12 (talk) 22:21, 9 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
All those ambushes were before the battle's end. We're talking about the result here. StephenMacky1 (talk) 22:22, 9 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Battles end is a part of the battle and ohrid agreement is logically an Albanian victory AcEagle12 (talk) 22:25, 9 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
According to “https://military-history.fandom.com/wiki/Battle_of_Tetovo” by August 7 the NLA controlled all of Tetovo and the surrounding villages Lols314 (talk) 22:35, 9 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I reverted this per Template:Infobox_military_conflict, the results can only be "X victory" or "inconclusive" and you can add a "See the Aftermath." I think you could certainly add a victor, but it should be the NLA, not Albanian rebels as not all readers understand that these are one and the same. Annwfwn (talk) 23:19, 9 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Ok thats fair, changing it to the NLA makes sense Lols314 (talk) 23:20, 9 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Why is it now impossible to view the older versions of the page? All the links from before June 2024 are dead?

GoofyGoofyson (talk) 08:55, 25 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@GoofyGoofyson Sorry for the late response! Basically, back in 2012 and 2014, an editor copied a large amount of a book into the article. They ended up copying at least 7k bytes worth of text. It was a really blatant copyright violation. In 2024, I discovered it and removed it all. To minimize the damage caused by the copyright violation, I asked an administrator to delete part of the article's history. I was worried that because the material had stood, unchallenged, for over a decade, somebody might try to add it back and put Wikipedia in legal jeopardy. It's a bit frustrating to view the article history now, I understand, but if you're curious about any individual editor's edits, you can always ask an administrator to look at an old copy of the article. I hope that helps. GreenLipstickLesbian (talk) 02:19, 1 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
