Flickr image of Ashburnham

[edit]

Rodib6950 (talk · contribs) added a link to Flickr of an image of a painting Ashburnham. Thanks for this, but I felt it needed reverting per WP:ELNO - I think Flickr comes under the general social media prohibition (but could be wrong). In either case, there is a workaround. The Flickr image is licensed under CC BY-SA 2.0. That is compatible with Wikimedia. You can make a copy of the image and upload to Wikimedia. Make sure you fill in the information regarding the license and the attribution and then the image can be used on the page itself, and not relegated to an external link. If you like, I can do that for you, but as you found the image, I will give you first refusal on doing that. Here is a link to Wikimedia Commons -- Sirfurboy🏄 (talk) 13:56, 10 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
