Redirects

[edit]

Ok, I went ahead and moved it... The problem was that that Armor King redirected to Armor King (Tekken character) which redirected to Armor King (Tekken), so it needed to be moved backwards along that line for the move-over command to accept it. Currently, there is are double-redirects at King (Tekken), Talk:Armor King (Tekken), Armor King (Tekken Character), and Talk:Armor King (Tekken Character) that should be fixed, but I thought I'd wait until someone else had commented on this first, since it can't be reversed without an admin once those redirects have been edited. --Aquillion 08:05, 24 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Birthplace / Origin

[edit]

While I agree that Armor King is probably from Mexico, his birthplace/origin is still officially listed as Unknown. I'll make that correction and if anyone disagrees, please let me know. KythringRB 13:16, 9 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Armor King's Tekken 2 Ending

[edit]

Has it been confirmed that this ending is canon or not? If so, then where was it confirmed at? KristiRenee 23:10, 15 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, all of the "(Canon)" and "(Non-Canon)" tags have been removed from all of the Tekken endings, so this doesn't matter now. KristiRenee 23:39, 7 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Is this canon?

[edit]

"The Armor King in [Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection] is actually Kazuya Mishima trying to prove that he is good at every fighting style." Seems pretty weird to me.

That is most likely vandalism. It sounds weird, and I haven't heard that anywhere. The true identity of the Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection Armor King is still a mystery. KristiRenee 23:01, 8 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You know, I actually came to the discussion page wondering if there was a connection since Kazuya's left eye glows red like Armor King's 198.6.46.11 15:23, 3 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

King's Tekken 3 booklet introduction

[edit]

This is something that I just noticed in the Tekken 3 booklet: "King is a young man who was raised in the original King's orphanage. After being savagely attacked by Ogre, his mentor's dying wish was for King to take over the orphanage. He now fights as a pro-wrestler to support the orphanage."

What does that second sentence mean? Did Armor King take over the orphanage after the first King was attacked by Ogre? If Armor King had a dying wish, then why is he alive in King's Tekken 3 ending? Was the first King a mentor to the second King at some point in time? I always thought Armor King was the second King's mentor. This raises so many questions! Someone had to take over the orphanage, but was it Armor King who did that? If Armor King was attacked by Ogre, it would explain why Ogre has Armor King's signature Burning Knuckle move. Did Armor King actually kill King I?

[edit]

The Armor King article says that Ogre killed King I. The King article says that Armor King killed King I. Which is it? KristiRenee 23:55, 7 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Of course it is the first. King I and Armor King were rivals not enemies. When Ogre killed King I, Armor King trained King II to help him obtaining revenge.--Kombatgod (talk) 12:12, 28 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Original Backstory

[edit]

Is there any real basis for the tribal origin in Tekken 1? Seems made up and ridiculous. --Gavin Darkstorn (talk) 19:52, 27 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It is made-up indeed. In fact, lots of Tekken-related articles contain ludicrous fanfiction. I just corrected Bruce Irvin's article. No, he wasn't Lei Wulong's partner. Ever. And of course, Lei's article tells the same (ludicrous) story... Geeze... English isn't my first language, and I don't have enough time to fix all that BS... 88.161.129.43 (talk) 01:11, 16 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Update Image

[edit]

Shouldn't you update the image of Armor King to the Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection picture. It would be more up to date and more recent. Not only that, but Armor King's picture right now isn't the best quality. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.142.214.138 (talk) 23:46, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
