Re-Write, please

The grammar in this article is AWFUL. I tried to clean up the article a little and fixed a few things here and there, but there's just way too much work that needs to be done. I think the whole thing needs a rewrite... Cris Varengo 22:30, 24 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well it was a bit rough but the information was useful and having a clear description of the differences between Redux and the original was terrific. Ratings

Worth mentioning? The British DVD release of the original film has an 18 (years and over) BBFC rating. The Redux version is only rated as 15. It's hard to see why, since Redux contains all of the footage from the original, but maybe the different pacing was taken into consideration. Lee M (talk) 17:21, 7 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It think that it's more to do with the BBFC's relaxation in policy, and would fit better in there. I performed a quick search but most pages related to this downgrading seem to crop up on forums and the like. The ratings are aren't very good, IMO: films such as this, as well as horror and violence-related movies get 15s whilst films tackling social issues, such as This Is England, get rated 18. List order

Changed per WP:BRD to put the plantation scene at the head of the list. Reasoning is this is regarded as the main addition to the film. RomaC (talk) 09:08, 6 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

additional scene

if my memory serves me right, the scene where they steal the surfboard and the airborne unit is starting a search mission to find the board is also missing in the standard version. "Bring back the board. It was a good board and I liked it" :-) Felixkrull (talk) 21:17, 27 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
