Rewrite of electoral results section

[edit]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just done a substantial rewrite of the section of the electoral results section. My changes include:

  • Removing lists of all candidates and vote numbers of other parties in each election. This level of detail is available in the articles on those elections and isn't relevant to the ALCP article. In their place I have highlighted particularly interesting results, including collating the last three general election results to find the best electoral candidate result.
  • Removing information better summarised by the tables.
  • Made separate sections for general election results and by-election results.
  • Removed or marked subjective statements such as "high-profile candidates" or "almost doubled" when results only were 1.6 times the previous figure

If I have been overzealous in removing relevant information, please do add it back in. I think the new structure is better though that's a different question as to what information goes in that structure.

Thanks for looking over this, HenryCrun15 (talk) 14:33, 4 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
