Is that really how he got the nickname "Gaspipe", i.e. because he used a piece of pipe to threaten people? I remember hearing somewhere that it was because his father, or somebody in his family worked for the gas company. Do we know this for sure? Thanks in advance. Batman

According to Philip Carlo, author of Gaspipe: Confessions of a Mafia Boss, Casso told the author that "Gaspipe" was his father's nickname, and he got it by default. His father was not in the mob, however. 71.96.113.99 (talk) 20:49, 26 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Paying Dues with no citation

[edit]

When using numbers like this we really need to put in the proper sourcing. This is actually the kind of thing that needs it. 75.135.77.154 (talk) 23:36, 5 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The name of Barry Gibb should be tattooed to Eppolito's forehead

[edit]

As Schmidt wrote, Barry Gibb was framed by Louis Eppolito for murder, and yes, Gibb did serve all but one year of his 20 year sentence before The Innocence Project helped bring about Gibbs exoneration and release...from the Attica Correctional Facility *link-> [[3]]! Louis Eppolito has been sentenced to Life plus 100 years, but get this, Eppolito's "request has been granted," and he will be moved to a facility in Arizona where he will have "television, better food, outdoor activities, and better access to family." So the crooked, dirty, sorry-excuse-for-a-human being cop has a Fairy God-Court Official. Well, my mother always says "It's who you know." I think it's not just who you know, but what you know about them, too. SeekerKC (talk) 15:54, 9 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Homicidal maniac

[edit]

The first source for this quote I could find is from the attorney for one of Casso's cops, mostly in said cop's defense. Is it still relevant? --Lenin and McCarthy | (Complain here) 22:00, 5 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
