Film/TV movie

From looking at other sites it seems Ann Rule wrote the story Too Late To Say Goodbye based on Bartin Corbin's murder of his wife and the earlier murder of a girlfriend which was filmed with Rob Lowe - I can't find it on Rob Lowe either though. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1486861/?ref_=sr_2 86.128.242.19 (talk) 14:32, 28 May 2013 (UTC)

Name

Is Rule her married name or a nom de plume? 86.139.225.123 (talk) 15:15, 27 October 2013 (UTC)

Rule is the last name of one of her ex-husbands. 12.180.133.18 (talk) 21:48, 22 April 2015 (UTC)

DOB source

Her date of birth, October 22, 1930, needs a source. I can't find one. 12.180.133.18 (talk) 01:03, 23 April 2015 (UTC)

I got all ready to fix the two deadlink refs, then realized the protection was full. Since I probably won't remember to come back after this opens up again, here's the info.

  • Dead link 1, in the lead. Remove the {{Dead link}} and add to the {{cite news}}: |archiveurl=//web.archive.org/web/20080106194052/http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2001/07/20/48hours/murder/main302562.shtml |archivedate=January 6, 2008 |deadurl=yes
  • Dead link 2, in Criticism. Remove the {{Dead link}}. The link is alive and kicking.

Thanks. ―Mandruss  06:54, 28 July 2015 (UTC)

The official website link has changed to http://www.authorannrule.com but I can't change it. Why the heck is this page protected from editing? I see something above about an argument over her birth year. Now that she's passed away, it's just a matter of time until the Social Security Death Index will have the official info.

I can't edit it, either. Full protection seems a bit extreme. Fortunately, the old URL redirects to the new one. So as long as readers are clicking here, rather than copy/pasting or typing the address (do people do that?), they're fine. But yeah, wouldn't hurt to link directly. I can't edit it either and I've been an editor for 11 years and 23,000 odd edits. Anyhoo, could anyone who can edit the article, please italicise Huffington Post (and any other instances). Thanks --Roisterer (talk) 02:15, 29 July 2015 (UTC)
Done and done. InedibleHulk (talk) 05:22, 31 July 2015 (UTC)
