Changes reverted
[edit]Hi. I made changes to the page I created about my father. He passed away today but for some reason the changes were reverted back. Can you please re-revert the changes? I'd really appreciate it. The page is Muhammad Nawaz Khan (author) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Baburnawazkhan (talk • contribs) 04:07, 4 October 2015 (UTC)
Policy concerning living people being declared dead
[edit]I understand that theres a policy. I wasn't aware before. But you won't be able to verify my father's death through Google since he lived in Pakistan and I doubt you'll find the news online. What other way would there be for me to prove his passing away?
http://tribune.com.pk/story/967374/historian-muhammad-nawaz-khan-passes-away/ Here you go. Proof that my father has passed away. Now can you please re-revert back to the changes I made? Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Baburnawazkhan (talk • contribs) 07:34, 5 October 2015 (UTC)
Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution
[edit] Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Ukrainian language into Old East Slavic. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was copied, attribution is not required. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 13:47, 17 October 2019 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
