Internet Post Comparing Dr. Amy Actin's Actions to Nazis
[edit]I want to thank whoever added the this information to the article, but I wonder if this should be a separate section of the article rather than in the introduction. What are your thoughts? 2600:2B00:8202:4A00:8492:7AF:5524:6081 (talk) 15:26, 23 April 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Looks like this is being deleted by accident, this individual is will be sworn in as a state rep in january, and it would be beneficial to constituents for this article to stay.
- Responding to the Sockpuppets rubberstamped comments on his rubber stamped articles...NO it was NOT a mistake to rubber stamp nominate the lot of them for deletion. WuhWuzDat 21:18, 6 November 2010 (UTC)

Edit request from Andrewbrenner, 2 January 2011
[edit]{{edit semi-protected}}
All information about an illegal bid related to the Delaware County Recorder's office is false. The referenced article does not contain proof. Therefore the information should be immediately removed from the Wiki page. Additionally, the IP address referenced as keeping the article on the page is probably coming from a political opponent. Only leave fact on the page, not accusations. Fact, Andrew Brenner was Recorder from January 2005 to December 2010. Anything else is conjecture.

- The language in the article can definitely be toned down, and I will do that. However, the article says what it says; is there a particular reason we should not believe the article? I'm not being accusatory, I'm genuinely interested to see if you have something to demonstrate this. The Blade of the Northern Lights (話して下さい) 05:24, 2 January 2011 (UTC)
- OK, I've left the general claim about ACS receiving an unfair bid in, but I've changed it to more accurately reflect what the source is saying; the source does not specifically accuse you of wrongdoing, and I think pointing out Richard Bird was/is a Democrat is giving undue weight. However, I'd like another editor to check this, as this seems like a fairly sensitive situation. The Blade of the Northern Lights (話して下さい) 05:33, 2 January 2011 (UTC)
- It looks good to me. Andrewbrenner, there is not much we can do when an allegation is published by reliable sources, and it's something directly related to your notability. If you put out a press release with your side of the story, or have some news articles clipped that give more information about the allegation, we could cite those potentially in order to better represent your view of the events. It's an unfortunate side effect of our policies that rely on published sources that if the published sources have a bias, our articles often reflect that bias. Another option is that we could try to delete your article entirely, but that's been tried before and the consensus was to keep it, so that may not succeed. Gigs (talk) 03:22, 22 November 2012 (UTC)

Prestige Music Tax Issue
[edit]The tax issue is relevant. Andrew touts his experience as CEO of the business. His fiscal irresponsibility should be highlighted in the leadership role he claims. To leave it out allows him all the benefit of claiming leadership without any of the responsibility. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.28.21.173 (talk) 01:06, 4 December 2012 (UTC)
I agree. It is just another example of a politician who loves the spotlight when it strokes his ego, but cannot handle it when the imperfections are apparent. His leadership is an important factor in his bio. — Preceding unsigned comment added by David43015 (talk • contribs) 01:27, 4 December 2012 (UTC)
For best
[edit]- I am here to do my best, for the layout of the article I avoid policies and prefer Ignore all rules. Thanks.Justice007 (talk) 18:03, 23 January 2013 (UTC)
- i have restructured a bit, there is so little content as not to require any sections. I have also removed, per BLP, reference to an issue which as the source states involved no wrongdoing by a living person. Therefore coverage only serves to taint the person by its implications. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 18:17, 23 January 2013 (UTC)

Update
[edit]As the elected official for whom this page was created, I cannot modify it. It needs major updates as most of the biography is 6 years out of date and I’m no longer a state representative. The Ohio Senate .gov page should have an accurate biography. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2605:A000:1132:84AD:69D1:2D9D:A203:C266 (talk) 02:23, 8 January 2019 (UTC)
Abortion SB-23 removed text
[edit]Possibly can still be used, since it refers to an exchange between the state senator and a constituent on highly notable issue, but needs cleanup re UNDUE and possible NPOV.On May 23, 2019, Vice published a first-person account of a childhood rape survivor's attempts to persuade Ohio's Republican Senators to include an exemption for rape and incest in SB 23.cite news|url=https://www.vice.com/en_us/article/neadwm/incest-survivor-on-confronting-lawmakers-about-ohios-6-week-abortion-bill%7Ctitle=My Brother Raped Me and My Anti-Abortion State Senator Didn't Care|date=May 23, 2019|website=Vice (magazine) She describes her interaction with Senator Andrew Brenner as follows: "When you sit down with the person who is supposed to represent you and tell him the most painful story of your life, and he’s looking at his phone and not the tears running down your face, it starts to feel a little hopeless."There was a moment with my own state senator, Republican Andrew Brenner, when he mentioned something about, 'That's why I believe in guns and safety.' And I said, 'I was a child. You don't fix a child being raped by giving that child a gun. That's so dumb.'"--Goldsztajn (talk) 12:52, 21 June 2019 (UTC)
May 2021 incident
[edit]In May 2021 Brenner was found to have used a fake background to disguise the fact that he was in his car (driving for part of the time) while attending a Zoom meeting discussing a new bill combating the problem of distracted driving. 173.88.246.138 (talk) 21:48, 6 May 2021 (UTC)
I vote to add this. Moultingmajor (talk) 15:43, 7 May 2021 (UTC)
Leftists are pushing political agenda
[edit]This page is deliberately not being updated by leftists. They are deliberately putting political links on the page in order to degrade the individual who happens to be me. I have no problem with others posting on the page actuate and up to date information. This page looks like it was written by my political opponent.
One person put me back to living in powell. I don’t and haven’t in two years. They have my wife as on Powell city council. Anyone can look that up and know that she is a former Powell council person from about 8 years ago.
Seriously if Wikipedia is looked at as a good unbiased reliable source, it isn’t. It is a horrible source based upon these edits. Andrewobrenner (talk) 03:01, 5 August 2022 (UTC)
- Well, just provide your requested changes here with reliable sources and we'll update the page. But ranting about "leftists" is not going to help. Meters (talk) 03:16, 5 August 2022 (UTC)
