Buildings

[edit]

I have tried to list the buildings that Gordon designed himself, rather than those designed by T. Alwyn Lloyd and Gordon or the Alex Gordon Partnership. I based this on the referenced obituaries in The Guardian and The Independent, and on the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography article.

Swansea Crown Count was completed in 1988, when he had retired. However, the design is clearly attributed to him in The Independent obituary, so presumably he designed it before he retired. Verbcatcher (talk) 04:22, 19 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Welsh or British?

[edit]

User talk:Swansnic has changed Welsh Architect to British Architect, and the categories from Welsh to British, possibly on the basis that Gordon was born in Scotland. He is described as Welsh in two reliable sources: the obituaries in The Guardian and in The Independent (refs in the article). On this basis I will revert these changes.
