Al-Aaimmah bridgeAa'mah bridge – or Imam's Bridge. There are a variety of transliterations that can be used as presented by Cam above. google maps presents Aa'mah bridge. The translation of the Arabic is Imam's bridge but I haven't seen a source use the translation.

At present the article begins "The Al-Aaimmah bridge'..." which, in the context that we have guidelines on WP:THE, basically reads "The the xxxx bridge...". --Relisted. George Ho (talk) 00:50, 10 May 2015 (UTC) GregKaye 20:37, 3 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment. Predominantly the convention on Wikipedia seems to be to preserve al- while transliterating article titles. Putting al- in titles is also recommended by WP:MOSAR#Definite_article as per its standard transliteration. So the current title seems acceptable per guidelines. Although I guess the double Aa at the start can be changed into a single A, and the B can be capitalized since it is a proper name. We can move to "Al-Aimmah Bridge" per standard transliteration and correct capitalization. Khestwol (talk) 11:34, 10 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • So move to "Al-Aimmah Bridge". Now, after I fixed it, even the article itself uses "Al-Aimmah Bridge". Khestwol (talk) 11:58, 3 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
