Defending image

An even longer-lived satellite?

- Good info. Not sure it is relevant to this article as that sat would be a 3rd or 4th generation commsat. In the late 1990's, apparently ATS-3 had the record, although the sources are a bit unclear as I wasn't able to find a publication date for the NASA "Beyond the Ionosphere" book. However, I have tweaked the text in this article to indicate that the oldest claim was made at a snapshot in time, and is certainly not eternally true. Cheers. N2e (talk) 21:45, 4 July 2012 (UTC)
