Spin off Long Lines microwave relay system?

[edit]

I think it may be worth considering spinning off the section on the AT&T Long Lines Microwave Relay Network, I think there is a sufficient amount of interest and there is definitely more to be said. I think the article is a little confusing as currently structured. Marincyclist (talk) 01:13, 3 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. The TD-2 page has a lot of the relevant information but it really blurs the lines between the TD-2 equipment and the Long Lines network. The timeline also doesn't fit with the 1984-2010 range. Sharveharv (talk) 18:21, 18 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I agree as well. I would propose having an article titled "AT&T Long Lines". I would also propose making Long-distance calling less US-centric. Long line (telecommunications) should probably be merged too. PhotographyEdits (talk) 13:36, 15 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Marincyclist Maybe the current article should be a section within that new AT&T Long Lines article. I think there is not actually that much to say about AT&T Communications, it is mostly about the decline of the Long Lines system. PhotographyEdits (talk) 13:42, 15 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
