Deletion
[edit]I object to the proposed deletion because I argue the topic is notable in accordance with Wiki's GNG. I admit that it is true that there are no sources that I know of that cover this topic exclusively, however, it has more than trivial mention in a number of sources and its significance for history is not trivial for these reasons:
i)it reportedly infected and killed large numbers of people including notable persons of the time period
ii) if in fact the smallpox theory is true and this was the first reliably recorded instance of it in European history, or even if this was the (or one of the) original infection event(s) that brought smallpox to Europe (and ultimately through Europe to the Americas and other parts of the world).Reesorville (talk) 03:22, 13 August 2023 (UTC)
