Talk:3rd Super Robot Wars Alpha: To the End of the Galaxy
Merging
[edit]Technically, This article should be merged with 3rd SRWA, given that the latter is the correct title for the series. For that matter, is there any information on this page which is not on the other? If there isn't, simply replacing the page with a redirect would be in order. Kouban 12:44, 23 January 2006 (UTC)
- Either title is an equally valid translation of the Japanese name. World War II is represented in Japanese as "dai-ni-ji sekai taisen", and thus "dai-ni-ji suupaa robotto taisen" can be "Super Robot War II" as well. To me, putting the number after the title of the game sounds a lot more natural in English.
- Fair enough. Either way, let's get this done soon. Also, learn to sign your comments ;) Kouban 18:10, 2 February 2006 (UTC)
I have done the merge, please review the new article as I am not an expert in the field. Kcordina 14:17, 28 February 2006 (UTC)
OST
[edit]What is the purpose of including the soundtrack? For that matter, why isn't the entire soundtrack listed? Kouban 14:38, 29 April 2006 (UTC)
- These games' soundtracks have always been an important part of the franchise, some might say integral. As for why it wasn't listed in its entirety, it might have to do with at least half of the tracks having Japanese titles. Chris411 20:58, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
- I have to disagree strongly. While it may be worth noting that the game's sound test mode will only play a song after it has been heard ingame, listing the contents of the soundtrack is a waste of space. Doing so makes sense for rhythm games, but not other genres. Kouban 15:05, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
Voice Actors
[edit]*In this instalment of the series, Ishida Akira is one of the few seiyu (possibily the only one) to voice two pilots (Kaworu Nagisa from Evangelion and Athrun Zala from Gundam Seed).
I do not wish to offend the anonymous editor who included this, but it is innacurate. There are several voice actors who do multiple roles in every SRW game, including Akira Kamiya and Keaton Yamada. Kouban 15:04, 8 July 2006 (UTC)
