Voting rules section

Should this be absolutely necessary for this page? I don't think so. The previous years pages or the main VMA page don't have a voting rules section at all, so I think it's unnecessary to put the voting rules on here. 2603:6081:893D:13AC:A52B:3FC9:DBDD:4F93 (talk) 00:16, 7 September 2023 (UTC)

May want to either expand this RfC statement/question, or just continue the discussion above without the need for an RfC. In general the voting details should probably be trimmed down, and would need more secondary coverage rather than all primary references if it was going to be expanded. I'm he/him, and I haven't read Wikipedia policy and like you said I don't think the VMA Voting system should be on its Wikipedia page because the main VMA Wikipedia page and previous year's pages doesn't have a Voting system/rules section, although it's related to the VMAs, I disagree with you for putting it on here. 2603:6081:893D:13AC:A5E6:3BA:A279:B590 (talk) 05:37, 9 September 2023 (UTC)
