Predictions using twitter and unreliable source
@GJ 06 Please read WP:TOI. Times Now cannot be accepted as a reliable source. Please avoid using predictions from biased sources. Venkat TL (talk) 12:05, 7 January 2022 (UTC)
- How can someone objectively define which sources are reliable or not. What makes ABP news more reliable that Times Now or Newsx or India news GJ 06 (talk) 12:17, 7 January 2022 (UTC)
- @GJ 06, Please read the link WP:TOI. You can read WP:Reliable Source to understand why. This is not my view point. This is community consensus. You can read the community discussion on the link WP:TOI. If you edit war over this, you may be reported. These are unreliable Godi media channels. If you have objections please raise them on WP:RSN. Venkat TL (talk) 12:27, 7 January 2022 (UTC)
- @ItzAviqn please read this thread. Remember ECI bans the Opinion polls after election date announcement. Venkat TL (talk) 11:56, 28 January 2022 (UTC)

Candidate List is out on Elections.in
New information can be added to the page, if this is a verifiable source. Tanyasingh (talk) 14:11, 23 December 2021 (UTC)
- The information on Elections.in doesn't seem to be verifiable. I can't find any credible news source that has provided information on release of candidate names for Uttarakhand. Dhruv edits (talk) 23:47, 28 December 2021 (UTC)
@AS Sayyad: @Dhruv edits: It also appears like there is going to be a Uttarakhand Political Alliance between 6 or 8 parties: Hamara Jan Manch Party, Uttarakhand Kranti Dal (Democratic), Janata Dal (Secular), Janata Dal (United), Peace Party, Uttarakhand Mool Niwas, Rajya Swaraj Party (RSP) Party[1] [2] Tanyasingh (talk)

- The 1st ref pertains to 2017 election, and the 2nd one doesn't provide the names of all parties/ organisations in the alliance. I think it would be better to wait for more details about the alliance. Dhruv edits (talk) 23:38, 28 December 2021 (UTC)
Oh, right. Thanks Tanyasingh (talk) 07:37, 31 December 2021 (UTC)
- Candidate List is out on the ECI website. It's unfortunately spread over many pages but I have the data for political parties. Is there a way to add it via wikidata? Tanyasingh (talk) 15:15, 3 February 2022 (UTC)
- No need. Tanyasingh, I request you to consider WP:NOTDIRECTORY and Wikipedia:Ten year test. Wikipedia is not a replacement for ECI sites. Public should goto ECI site to know their candidates not wikipedia. Only the winning and runner up candidates are added on Wikipedia. Venkat TL (talk) 15:21, 3 February 2022 (UTC)
This article looks more like an ad campaign for Aam Aadmi Party? Compromised NPOV?
Why's there only Aam Aadmi Party's manifesto in this article? Is this a case of paid editing by AAP's proxies here? Using AAP's twitter handle as the "credible source" for information about their manifesto. It raises a suspicion that this article is being used to influence the voters in upcoming state election. This article needs to be under WP:NEUTRALITY, WP:NPOV, WP:PAID noticeboard. — Hemant Dabral (📞 • ✒) 12:36, 8 February 2022 (UTC)
- @Hemant Dabral A Reliable Secondary source, (a newspaper Dainik Jagran) for the information Manifesto is already there in the article. Everything is sourced to Secondary and Primary sources. A verified social media handle is indeed a credible source for Candidate list. Are you saying it's verified handle is not credible? On what basis it is not credible? There is no inappropriate reference to primary source. So your concern is without any factual basis. I have removed the inappropriate tag. Other than Casting aspersions and bad faith comments if you have specific issues you should point it out. Venkat TL (talk) 13:51, 8 February 2022 (UTC)
Keeping only a summary of Opinion Polls
I have Removed the detailed Opinion poll data and only kept a short summary. Refer to the news article, ओपिनियन पोल इतना इतराते क्यों हैं:इनके 90% दावे गलत, फिर भी इतना हो-हल्ला; आइए ओपिनियन पोल की पोल-पट्टी खोलते हैं where Bhaskar newspaper has published a scathing survey of Opinion Polls. Dainik Bhaskar published a survey of past opinion polls and concluded that the opinion polls had failed to predict the correct election outcome more than 90% of the time and were unreliable. No internationally reputed news paper has published the results of these opinion polls. In such cases it is not appropriate for Wikipedia to publish in details these polls. I believe a short summary of the latest Opinion poll is enough.
@Gurk91: No need to include 1 year old opinion polls from C Voter. Please discuss your concerns here on the talk page first. Please only keep the most recent opinion polls. No News agency is publishing old opinion polls when they have the most recent ones. --Venkat TL (talk) 09:02, 6 February 2022 (UTC)
@Naren aviation: Dont compare USA with free press with India with rank 142 in Press Freedom. Dainik Bhaskar has found 90% opinion polls wrong. Please reply on the talk page to achieve a WP:Consensus version. --Venkat TL (talk) 10:33, 6 February 2022 (UTC)
Manipulation of Opinion Poll: A television news channel in a sting operation found that agencies (including CVoter) which conduct opinion polls before elections are willing to tweak their findings for money.[1][2] It included global giants like Ipsos and CVoter. After the expose, India Today Group suspended its CVoter contract.[3][4] --Venkat TL (talk) 07:34, 7 February 2022 (UTC)
- @Dhruv edits please hold on, on adding opinion polls till 10 march result date. Venkat TL (talk) 10:52, 20 February 2022 (UTC)

Table height
@Naren aviation @Dhruv edits @MPGuy2824 any idea why the table of Opinion poll is of double height on this page. What is making it double long. The cells of the table should only be 1 line high. Venkat TL (talk) 14:34, 8 March 2022 (UTC)
- Fixed in this: [1]. There were new lines in some cells. -MPGuy2824 (talk) 02:12, 9 March 2022 (UTC)
- @MPGuy2824 thanks, looks good now. Venkat TL (talk) 08:34, 9 March 2022 (UTC)
