Air pollution
[edit]Not sure the best way to include this, but from DEFRA data the effect on Manchester air quality can be seen, peaking at 134 ug/m^3 of PM2.5. A graph or csv file can be made at https://uk-air.defra.gov.uk/data/data_selector_service by selecting "Measured Data", "Custom dates, 24/6/18 29/6/18", "Manchester Piccadilly", "PM2.5", e.g. https://uk-air.defra.gov.uk/data/show-datavis?q=1007676&type=auto --92.15.160.75 (talk) 07:19, 30 June 2018 (UTC)
Anticyclone
[edit]"For much of the time, a strong anticlockwise wind circulation around Britain and Ireland caused a strong warm anticyclone there."
I thught the causation was the other way around, but in any case isn't an anticyclone clockwise in the northern hemisphere? Harfarhs (talk) 11:18, 2 July 2018 (UTC)
Order of events
[edit]How should the event sections be ordered? Alphabetically by county? Thanks. Martinevans123 (talk) 15:36, 3 July 2018 (UTC)
Other smaller fires
[edit]Should there be a section for smaller wildfires,
- Rasharkin, County Antrim, 800m front, firefighter in attendance for over 24 hours, https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-44723008
- Haslingden, Lancashire, 40 firefighters, A56 shut due to smoke, https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-lancashire-44733170 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.194.110.33 (talk) 10:01, 6 July 2018 (UTC)
- Seems noteworthy, especially because it indicates further that the fires are mostly limited to Ireland and the North of England. 109.148.9.83 (talk) 11:42, 3 August 2018 (UTC)
