I should review a few more, seeing as I have six GAN's up now :/

  • "Of these six tropical systems, five of them intensified into a tropical storm and four further strengthened into hurricanes. " - I'm counting six TS's, unless I'm crazy
  • "On August 5, the tropical storm strengthened to the equivalent of a Category 1 hurricane while positioned over the Bahamas." - BT has it reaching hurricane status on the 6th. How did you reach the 5th?
  • "the storm caused minor damage to shipping in the Bahamas" - what does that mean?
  • For the Fort Pierce hurricane, you say " the hurricane caused extensive property damage", but that sounds hardly true compared to the Okeechobee hurricane
  • " though power outages caused loss of communication statewide" - the whole state, really?
  • "In Haiti, the storm completely wiped out live stock and many crops, particularly coffee, cocoa, and sugar." - completely implies that there were no livestock left. Is that true?
  • "The damage totaled $1 million. At least 200 deaths were reported." - merge these sentences
  • For TS 3, the units don't match for the peak intensity
  • "The system weakened after crossing the peninsula, entering the Bay of Campeche early on September 6 as a weak tropical storm, later restrengthening slightly to a 50 mph (80 km/h) while nearing mainland Mexico on September 7." - a bit too long
  • Impacts for TS 3?
  • I feel like the Okeechobee hurricane needs a hair more for Guadeloupe. 1,200 deaths is more than PR, but that island has a whole paragraph
  • On what basis was the Okeechobee hurricane thought to be a C5?
  • "the storm made landfall near West Palm Beach, Florida with winds of 145 mph (233 km/h).[4] In the city, more than 1,711 homes were destroyed. Elsewhere in the county" - you never mention a county.
  • "about 835 mi (1,344 km)" - 1,344 is rather exact
  • TS 5 could use a bit of meta data. Did any ships observe it?
  • The TD doesn't need an infobox
  • "The final cyclone of the season developed about 740 mi (1,190 km) east-northeast of the easternmost islands of Cape Verde on October 10." - that location would be over Africa

You should be more consistent with how you handle the ending of storms. Sometimes you include the ET phase, sometimes you stop storm sections once they become extratropical. In general, I feel the article could use just a hair more details on the storms, such as what I said about storm 5. Mostly just indicating on what basis storms were classified, or how the intensities were estimated. The article is in generally good shape, and it shouldn't be too hard to address these concerns. ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 18:49, 21 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
