The Rural Municipality of Sutton No. 103 (2016 population: 240) is a rural municipality (RM) in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan within Census Division No. 3 and SARM Division No. 2.

History

The RM of Sutton No. 103 incorporated as a rural municipality on December 11, 1911.[2]

In the 2021 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, the RM of Sutton No. 103 had a population of 230 living in 103 of its 126 total private dwellings, a change of -4.2% from its 2016 population of 240. With a land area of 792.29 km2 (305.90 sq mi), it had a population density of 0.3/km2 (0.8/sq mi) in 2021.[10]

In the 2016 Census of Population, the RM of Sutton No. 103 recorded a population of 240 living in 103 of its 112 total private dwellings, a 0% change from its 2011 population of 240. With a land area of 822.4 km2 (317.5 sq mi), it had a population density of 0.3/km2 (0.8/sq mi) in 2016.[4]

Government

The RM of Sutton No. 103 is governed by an elected municipal council and an appointed administrator that meets on the second Thursday of every month.[3] The reeve of the RM is David Nagel while its administrator is Jessica Green.[3] The RM's office is located in Mossbank.[3]
