Men's tournament
[edit]For the first time in the history, the South Sudan men's basketball team, the youngest basketball nation in Olympic history, qualified for Paris, through the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup, as the highest rank from African zone.[2]
- Team roster
A 50-player roster was announced on 30 April 2024.[3] It was cut to 25 players on 3 June 2024.[4] The roster was announced on 24 July 2024.[5][6]
