Update on the NOCs
[edit]I would like to remind Jr Tahun to please add the unqualified nation to the template once you created the article for the nth time. Don't expect other users, including yours truly, to update the template for YOU. Please coordinate. You keep on updating the qualification process of the Games regularly, especially for the unqualified NOCs. PLEASE ACKNOWLEDGE MY RESPONSE. Thank you! Raymarcbadz (talk) 15:53, 14 May 2023 (UTC)
Who is interested in Committees at the Olympics?
[edit]I note that the template is called 'Nations at the 2024 Summer Olympics'; why, then, is the table in articles (the main visibility that this template has) headed as 'National Olympic Committees at the 2024 Summer Olympics'? I doubt anyone is that bothered about what the committee members are doing in the games, nor is that what the linked articles communicate. Strongly suggest that the title field be changed to Nations at the 2024 Summer Olympics, or failing that National teams at the 2024 Summer Olympics. If this is not acceptable, I'm intrigued to learn the rationale. (I know that there is precedent: previous cases based on weak reasoning can be changed, and I don't see precedent as unchallengable authority) Kevin McE (talk) 10:25, 31 July 2024 (UTC)
