Shabab Rural District (Persian: دهستان شباب) is in Shabab District of Chardavol County, Ilam province, Iran.[3] Its capital is the village of Sang-e Sefid.

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population (as a part of the Central District) was 11,004 in 2,306 households.[4] There were 11,011 inhabitants in 2,796 households at the following census of 2011.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 3,063 in 852 households, by which time it had been separated from the district in the establishment of Shahab District. The most populous of its 20 villages was Halehsam, with 494 people.[2]
