The Pasig River Esplanade is a riverside esplanade located in Manila, Philippines. It is planned to be 25 kilometers (16 mi) long, traversing the cities of Manila, Mandaluyong, Makati, Pasig, and Taguig, following the whole stretch of the Pasig River.[1]
It is a project of the administration of Bongbong Marcos, which is part of the revitalization of the Pasig River. The first 500 meters (1,600 ft), which was dubbed as the "Showcase Area", was inaugurated on January 17, 2024.[2] It was followed by the inauguration of Phase 1C on June 23, 2024, stretching up to 250 meters (820 ft) long,[3] which eventually connects the Showcase Area at the Manila Post Office side up to the public space at the Binondo–Intramuros Bridge. It also features a commercial structure which can accommodate over 30 stalls.[4]
