Notability issue

A comment by reviewer: "This submission appears to be a news report of a single event and may not be notable enough for an article in Wikipedia." While this might be true, it is biographical about a railroad superintendent who had a town named after him and involved the president, chief engineer, general supt., and a director of the C&NW Railway as witnesses as well as victims of the event. Admittedly it is the news event that made the person notable.

Yes it is the news event that made him notable, all this coverage could be included in the Watkins, Iowa article, he doesn't need his own article. Theroadislong (talk) 17:15, 1 November 2024 (UTC)
