Description

[edit]

Zirabagtaria was oval shaped,a u shaped band defined its head, sclerites are preserved in the holotype, an asymmetrical head may be due to deformation or glide symmetry.[3][4]

Classification

[edit]

Zirabagtaria was an Solzid Kimberellomorph ( related to solza) , therefore it is an stem Mollusc.[1]

Occurrence

[edit]
Some taxa from the Clemente Formation, with Zirabagtaria being at the top right.

Zirabagtaria is known from a single specimen from the Clemente Formation in Mexico.[1][5]

Species

[edit]

There is a single species, Z.ovata.[1][4]

Notes
