Vietnamese writing practice is a course taught at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences and Humanities.[1]

Purpose

Learners are equipped with the knowledge and practical skills to draft various types of common Vietnamese documents; they also develop their reading and writing skills in Vietnamese, adhering to both linguistic and stylistic standards. Additionally, learners are provided with methods to present information in a logical and coherent manner, primarily in written form.

Proficiency in standard Vietnamese is a prerequisite for university students and is essential in all professional fields. Through this course, students will develop a greater awareness of preserving the identity and purity of the Vietnamese language. The course also helps students cultivate a deep appreciation and love for the Vietnamese language, thereby fostering a conscious and effective use of standard Vietnamese.[2]
