Switzerland is an upcoming film, starring Helen Mirren aa the author Patricia Highsmith. The script is from Joanna Murray-Smith from her own stage play and the film is set to be directed by Anton Corbijn for FilmNation, Brouhaha Entertainment and Lunar Pictures.
Synopsis
[edit]A young man, Edward, travels from New York to Switzerland to try and persuade the renowned writer Patricia Highsmith (Mirren) to create one final installment of her Tom Ripley anthology for his publisher.[1][2]

[edit]The film is set to be directed by Anton Corbijn for FilmNation from a script from Joanna Murray-Smith, based on her own stage play. Producers are Gaby Tana, Troy Lum and Andrew Mason for Brouhaha Entertainment and Jim Robison and Kurt Martin for Lunar Pictures.[3]
Filming is scheduled for Switzerland in September 2024.[4][5]
