Production
[edit]Following production wrapped up on Dragons: Rescue Riders, Sarah Katin and Nakia Trower Shuman pitched a new series through an animation test to Vanessa Taylor-Sands which gives them the greenlight to make the series due to their interest in the book from Jessica Sera of the same name. On February 22, Netflix picks up the series along with another DreamWorks preschool series Dew Drop Diaries and a new season of Gabby's Dollhouse.[11] Unlike previous DreamWorks shows produced from either CGCG or Mikros Animation, the animation for the series was produced by Lemon Sky Studios in Malaysia.[12]
