Micah Hafen is a gymnast at Libertyville High School in Libertyville, Illinois. Hafen lettered in varsity gymnastics twice at LHS and was recognized as a leader of his JV gymnastics team on the pommel horse [1] Despite significant injuries, such as a stress fracture in the middle of his junior year, he was seen as one of the primary contributors to the success of the Libertyville Men's Gymnastic Team.[2]
Hafen is also known for his performance on the saxophone in both the Libertyville and the Joel Barlow High School bands.[3] He is the grandson of prominent attorney and author Bruce C. Hafen.
