Mehmed: Fetihler Sultanı (transl. Mehmed: Sultan of Conquests) is a 2024[1] Turkish historical television series[2] directed by Şafak Bal and Yildiray Yildirim. The series depicts the life of Ottoman Sultan Mehmed II.[3] The leading actors of the series are Serkan Çayoğlu, Selim Bayraktar, Seçkin Özdemir and Sinan Albayrak. [4]The first episode of the series[5] was aired on 27 February, 2024 on TRT 1.[6][7]
Plot
[edit]When Ottoman Sultan, Fatih Sultan Mehmed ascends the throne, he must defeat many enemies inside and outside the palace to conquer Constantinople, his biggest dream.

• Fikret Kuşkan as Lukas Notaras. Grand Duke of Byzantine. He is dismissed from all his duties by Konstantinos and leaves the series.
• Tuba Ünsal as Mara Brankoviç. Daughter of Serbian King. Wife of Sultan Murad II and stepmother of Mehmed II.
• Esila Umut as Gulbahar Hatun. Wife of Mehmed II and mother of Prince Beyazit.

• Kaan Yalçin as Malkoçoğlu Hamza Bey. Akinci Bey from Malkoçoğlu family. He betrays Bali Bey.
• Ghassan Massoud as Abu Ayyub Al Ansari. Companion of Prophet Muhammad. Shown in the beginning of th series.
• Ali Nuri Türkoğlu as Orhan. Cousin of Mehmed II. He is an Ottoman Prince and lives in Constantinopls. He wants to be the Sultan with the help of Byzantine.
