The Jackpot Ultra Running Festival is an ultrarunning event held annually since 2014 at Cornerstone Park in Henderson, Nevada.[1] This festival features 6, 12, 24, and 48 hour races, along with standard 50-mile and 100-mile races. It also hosts the USA Track & Field (USATF) 100-Mile Road National Championship, as well for the other respective distances.[2]
The event starts at 8:00am Friday the second week of Febuary through Sunday at 2pm for the final 100 mile cutoff.[3]
History and Organization
[edit]Jackpot Ultrarunning Festival was founded by Beyond Limits Running, and is known for a "festive atmosphere" which includes entertainment and live music from local performers of Las Vegas.[4] They are also known for their "Jackpot" prize money pool. Prize money historically has not been often offered in ultrarunning.[5]
In 2022 Aravaipa Running took over the event.[6]
Steep Life Media collaborted with Aravaipa Running to provide live coverage of the event, including pre-race question and answer sessions with elite runners and race day coverage for the 48 hour event.[7]

[edit]The 100-Mile Road National Championship is ran on a USATF certified "short course" or "long courseof 1.17078 miles (1.8842 kilometer) on 95% hard surface with 36 feet of gain per loop, at a max elevation of 1,905 feet.[8][9]

[edit]A secondary option for runners is to race on the long loop of 2.35 miles, with a total elevation gain of 72 feet per loop, at a max elevation of 1,912 feet.[10]

Prize Money
[edit]The Jackpot Ultra Running Festival offers equal prize money for the top male and female finishers in the 100-Mile USATF National Championship in a $4,000 prize purse.[11][12] The prize distribution is as follows:
- 1st Place: $1,200
- 2nd Place: $500
- 3rd Place: $300
