- Comment: Just blatant advertising even after a re-write. Theroadislong (talk) 18:25, 8 February 2024 (UTC)
- Comment: Promotional. Review WP:PUFFERY microbiologyMarcus (petri dish·growths) 12:21, 8 February 2024 (UTC)
- Comment: Please stop submitting this article without significant improvement. CoconutOctopus talk 20:07, 7 February 2024 (UTC)
- Comment: Most of the coverage is written by Ritabrata Mukherjee who is a team member of the club, so this is not independent coverage. See WP:NORG. Curb Safe Charmer (talk) 19:07, 7 February 2024 (UTC)
- Comment: Please see WP:REFB for advice on correct referencing using the preferred method of dynamic inline citations and footnotes. Now all the citations are piled on top of the page (apart from one, on the bottom), which doesn't make it clear which source supports what content and how much of this remains unsupported. DoubleGrazing (talk) 17:46, 7 February 2024 (UTC)
- Comment: We need to see significant coverage of the club itself, not of some indirectly related matters, in multiple secondary sources that are reliable and independent of the subject. DoubleGrazing (talk) 17:45, 7 February 2024 (UTC)

Classic Drivers Club (CDC) is a non-government, non-profit organization catering to the interests of historic vehicle enthusiasts in India.
CDC as a registered trust, caters to historic vehicles owner members in Kolkata, collectively owning more than 180 historic vehicles comprising of veteran, vintage, pre- or post-war classic cars, at least thirty years old. CDC also caters to non-vehicle owner enthusiasts through a Facebook group page to promote safeguarding and conservation of historic vehicles.
CDC is a national member club of FIVA (International Federation of Historic Vehicles) as per their website and publications.[1][2]
As per the details on their official website, CDC partners with other historic vehicle clubs in India and also with international federations and clubs to carry out its activities. Its primary agenda revolves around advocating for legislative measures in India aimed at safeguarding, conserving, and promoting historic vehicles.
Events
[edit]CDC performs its functions through display and awareness events and drives. As of January 2024 since its inception in 2017 as per records[3], CDC organized over 160 drives within Kolkata,[4][failed verification] including eight out-of-town drives, two of which were overnight journeys, such as to Shantiniketan and others. CDC regularly collaborates with social clubs like the Calcutta Cricket and Football Club[5], Calcutta Club [6], The Saturday Club, Dalhousie Institute, Automobile Association of Eastern India and others to propagate the significance of historic vehicles. The last published event as per their website was on January 14, 2024 when CDC displayed 95 historic vehicles at the Alipore Museum, with 6,000 visitors and garnered media attention.[7][8][9]
Definitions and classifications

- which is preserved and maintained in a historically correct condition,
