India artist
Babu Ram Yadav (born 1949), also known as Brass Babu, is an expert in Marori brass craft and a recipient of the Padma Shri.[1][2]
Life
[edit]He was born in Moradabad district in Uttar Pradesh. He quit his studies due to family responsibilities and started learning this art from his Guruji (Master) Amar Singh. He is also a recipient of the State Award in 1985, National Award in 1992 and Shilpguru Award given by President Pranab Mukherjee in 2014.[3][4]
