Adam Dovile is an Australian builder and television presenter.
Since 2015, Dovile has been a presenter on the Seven Network's lifestyle program Better Homes and Gardens.[1]
He was also the winner of the second season of House Rules in 2014 alongside his wife Lisa Lamond.[2]
Early life
[edit]Adam was born in Melbourne and was born into a large Sicillian family who owned a family pizza restaurant, where Dovile spent much of his youth.[3]
Television

[edit]Dovile and his fiancée Lisa Lamond applied for the second season of House Rules, with Dovile becoming a fan favourite. Adam and Lisa were the first couple in the history of the series to recieve a perfect score.[4] The couple won the show, and the major prize of getting their mortgage paid off.[5]
Better Homes and Gardens
[edit]In 2015 it was announced Dovile would be joining the Seven Network's long-running lifestyle show Better Homes and Gardens alongside Demi Harman, as the program's building and DIY expert replacing Rob Palmer.[6]
For his work on the show, Dovile won Best New Talent at the Logie Awards of 2016.[7]
In 2024, Dovile became the longest serving DIY presenter on Better Homes and Gardens, surpassing ten years on air and more than 400 episodes.[8]
All New Monty: Guys and Gals
[edit]In 2020 it was announced Dovile would take part in the television series All New Monty: Guys and Gals.[9] Dovile was one of 15 Australian celebrities who stripped nude in order to raise funds for men and women's cancer.[10] Dovile revealed he was doing the show to support his father who has been battling prostate cancer since 2017.[11]
Dancing With The Stars
[edit]In February 2024, Dovile was announced as one of 12 celebrities preparing to compete on the 21st season of Dancing with the Stars, to be paired with professional dancer Jess Raffa.[12]
Personal life
[edit]Dovile and wife Lisa married in 2016 and have two daughters.[13][14]
Dovile is a fan of Collingwood Footlball Club.[citation needed]
