The Central District of Shush County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان شوش) is in Khuzestan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Shush.[3]

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the district's population was 113,041 in 21,397 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 117,441 people in 28,525 households.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the district as 119,459 inhabitants in 32,978 households.[2]
