Mario Villains?
[edit]Right. I'm pretty sure Wikipedia's own rules and guidelines have already established that you can't have an article in both a subcategory and the category that subcategory belongs to. I also think its only common sense that Mario villains belong in the "Mario Villains" subcategory and not the generic "Nintendo Villains" category. So doesn't it make sense to move K. Rool, Klaptrap, Kremlings, Kudgel, Ninjape and Captain Syrup to the Mario Villains page? Okay, I know there's a debate going on on some games sites about whether or not characters from the Donkey Kong spin-off universe actually count as Mario characters, but I never thought there was an issue with characters from Wario games (such as Captain Syrup). Besides which, Mario and DK both debuted in the same game ("Donkey Kong"), Donkey Kong characters frequently appear in Mario sports titles, and I know there were Mario references in "Donkey Kong Country", "Donkey Kong Country 2", "Donkey Kong Country 3", "Donkey Kong Land", "Donkey Kong 64", "Donkey Konga" and "Donkey Kong Jungle Beat". I'd move all the DK and Wario enemies to the "Mario Villains" category, but that'd be a fairly major edit, so I thought I'd best just check that's okay first.
Nintendo antagonists
[edit]No consensus was reached! How can the result of the discussion have been "merge into parent categories"? I say reopen the discussion right now. RobbieG 12:17, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
