Tis successful. Good job to everyone involved, 22/0/0 is a pretty conclusive result, and we have our new barnstar! SGGH speak! 07:44, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

Oppose It doesn't even look anything like a barnstar, not one bit!! Please take a look here for some insperation. --CubBC (talk) 10:14, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
- Hello there CubBC, I am sorry that you do not like the barnstar :(, but this poll is currently only for the members of Wikiproject Law Enforcement being that this is not going to be a general use barnstar (e.g. the Working Mans Barnstar) but a Project Specific Award (e.g. the WikiChevrons, or the Saint's Star Award) and as such I have only requested the members of the project to vote in the poll, you are more than welcome to start a discussion about why you don't like the barnstar in the General Discussion section (Edit), but this poll is currently only for Members of WPLE. Note to SGGH: If you believe that the members of the general public should be allowed to vote, feel free to un-strike his vote and remove my comments :) All the Best, --Mifter (talk) 21:52, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
- Hi Mifter your this comment has confused me. What do you mean by Project Specific Award ??? How to earn this award? That is what is the criterya to fulfill?--Suyogaerospacetalk to me! 09:04, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
- Hi Suyogaerospace, What I mean by a project specific award is that it would be generally given out only by a member of the project (Anyone could give it out, but generally it would not be given out by members of the general community.) Here's another example, we all know of the Original Barnstar and the RickK Anti-Vanal Barnstar Etc, those are meant to be given out to anyone by anyone, while the Wiki Chevrons are a project specific award to the Military History Wikiproject and are generally only given out by the project to some one who has made contributions to the project, our award would be in the project specific catagory. I hope this has cleared this up for you, if you have any more questions feel free to ask :). All the Best, --Mifter (talk) 18:33, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

General Discussion
Look at the number of supports, this poll should be closed. Don't think anyone has any reason to oppose. Dep. Garcia ( Talk + | Help Desk | Complaints ) 14:42, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
- Unless there is some minimum amount of days that it has to run, I agree with Dep. Garcia. Free the barnstar!--Sallicio 16:09, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
- There is no set amount of time that the poll has to run, I simply chose to have it run for two weeks because two weeks appeared to be an ample amount of time for all active members of the project to respond and voice their opinion. About an early closure, you would have to contact SGGH to get him to apporove an early closure, and with the amount of support that we have, I think that their is a good chance he would approve an early closure, but its all up to him, and regardless of his decision, I support his choice :). All the best --Mifter (talk) 00:40, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
- Give it to the tenth. That way its 10 days of voting which is a nice round number, there are a lot more project members than have voted here (active or not) so there are a few more voices that may be heard. Go democracy and all that. But yes it does appear to be snowballing SGGH speak! 08:51, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
