CHL issues
[edit]I've been slowly meandering through the lower-hanging/easier/more interesting fruit in the CHL, and we're starting to get into some of the less easy stuff.
- There are a whole bunch of CHL listings for rural military facilities that have basically nothing to do with the military facilities and are about protecting biodiversity. I'm not really sure what to do with these: they're irrelevant to articles on the actual facilities but the content could be interesting to someone.
- We've never discussed what to do with the broad geographical region listings in the national registers. Some of the really broad ones are probably best not used, remembering the West Kimberley mess in the NHL, but there's others like Murray Mallee - Calperum Station and Taylorville Station that seem potentially useful but overlap with our articles in a difficult way.
- The CHL has really quite a lot of lighthouses. These generally already have articles. Is it worth bothering with this content where they do, and if so, does anyone feel like volunteering?
- Indigenous sites/protected areas - thoughts on these? I'm a bit hesitant after the West Kimberley mess.
Any thoughts on any of the above would be appreciated. The Drover's Wife (talk) 12:10, 17 February 2020 (UTC)
