Launch Assignment Design Wizard button broken

[edit]

User:Vincentvikram pointed out that the Launch Assignment Design Wizard button isn't working. Perhaps someone at Wiki Ed can fix that link for their users. Thank you. Anna Koval (WMF) (talk) 16:39, 2 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Instructions needed for non-Wiki Ed educators

[edit]

There needs to be instructions on this page for non-Wiki Ed instructors, too, please. Thank you. Anna Koval (WMF) (talk) 16:39, 2 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Ombox

[edit]

I strongly recommend removing the {{ombox}} and instead noting that information, perhaps, here on the talk page and linking to it from within the text. It was confusing for at least one non-Wiki Ed educator. Since the Global Ed and Wiki Ed programs share this training, it seems only fair that such prominent messages are helpful for all users, not just some users. Thank you. Thanks Anna Koval (WMF). This page is not longer part of the training, but I just realized that there was a prominent link to it from WP:SUP, which is probably how User:Vincentvikram ended up here. I've removed that link. (The Assignment Design Wizard is not longer running, as we've folded that functionality into dashboard.wikiedu.org).--Sage (Wiki Ed) (talk) 16:48, 2 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, Sage (Wiki Ed), for removing the link at WP:SUP. So what do we do about this page and the page that leads to it? The Global Ed instructors still need a page that links them to their next steps: getting user rights and setting up a course page through the extension. Is there already an appropriate page for this information? If so, where? And if they're no longer needed, should we then delete these two pages: Wikipedia:Training/core/Assignment Design Wizard and Wikipedia:Training/core/Launch Assignment Design Wizard? Really appreciate your help with this. And if I should ask Ragesoss about this instead, please consider it done. :) Anna Koval (WMF) (talk) 16:57, 2 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I think I took care of most of the other paths that led here. Better to leave them than delete them, IMO, so that we can retrace the history of these things if needed. I'll be clearing out the outdated info at Wikipedia:Education program/Assignment Design Wizard soon.--Sage (Wiki Ed) (talk) 17:05, 2 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Much appreciated, Sage. This helps a lot. Anna Koval (WMF) (talk) 18:03, 2 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
