This upper-level survey of the early American frontier, 1400-1850, explores comparative colonial conquests, histories of indigenous Americans, and ends with a close look at Indigenous Removal. This mass deportation of Native Nations from the eastern half of the nation into Indian Territory is the foundational story of modern Oklahoma.
