This is the paleontologists task force, a collaboration area for Wikipedians interested in improving coverage of paleontologists. New participants are welcome; please feel free to participate!
|
The Paleontologists Taskforce hopes to improve articles about paleontologists. These assesments are by WikiProject Palaeontology.
Goals
[edit]Current coverage on Wikipedia regarding paleontologists is lacking, both in article quality and number of articles. This taskforce aims to expand and improve articles regarding the individuals who have contributed to paleontology and better document their contributions, as well as fill in red links to scientists on other pages associated with WikiProject Paleontology.

[edit]Requested Articles
[edit]Please review Wikipedia's notability requirements for scholars before requesting or creating articles. In short, the subject must have made major contributions to their field, as recognized by others. Simply publishing articles or naming species may not be sufficient to establish notability, and there may not be enough material to write a satisfying, complete biographical article.
