Mahesh Muralidhar is a New Zealand politician, representing the New Zealand National Party as a Member of Parliament since the 2023 New Zealand general election.
Early life and career
[edit]Muralidhar was born in Kerala and moved to New Zealand in the mid-90s to attend high school. He completed his schooling at Napier Boys' High School before graduating from the University of Auckland and the University of New South Wales.[1]
Muralidhar is the founder and Chief Executive of venture capital firm Phase One Ventures.[2] He has held multiple executive roles in start-up companies in Australia.[3]

Muralidhar was selected by the National Party to contest the Auckland Central electorate at the 2023 election. He was 43rd on the party list.[4]
