Maps
[edit]Here are some in-progress maps:
-
This one is the "reference" map I'm using to create locator maps.
-
From Cahuilla language.
-
Colored version of outline map of the native languages of California.
-
SVG-ized version of a nice .gif map of Maiduan languages by User:Cyberherbalist.
Map things to do:
[edit]- Add ISO-639-3 language tags to the individual language elements in SVG files.
- Generate or create more locator maps. (Posted a query about how best to do this at Stack Overflow.)
- Create maps that help visualize the language stocks and groups (contentious as they may be).
- Add labels to maps (to SVGs, so they can be translated)
