This template is intended to provide a convenient means of navigating between core articles on the history of science.

Usage

By default, the template appears as opposite, i.e. with all lists expanded. To display the template with all lists collapsed, add the parameter |lists=collapsed or |startcollapsed=true, e.g.

To display the template with all lists collapsed save one, use the instructions in the second part of the following section:

Collapsible lists option

This template includes collapsible lists.

• • To set it to display all lists when it appears (i.e. all lists expanded), use:
•  {{WikiProject History of Science/Sidebar |expanded=all}} or, if enabled, {{WikiProject History of Science/Sidebar |all}}  (i.e. omitting "expanded=").

• • To set it to display one particular list while keeping the remainder collapsed (i.e. hidden apart from their headings), use:
•  {{WikiProject History of Science/Sidebar |expanded=listname}} or, if enabled, {{WikiProject History of Science/Sidebar |listname}}
• …where listname is one of the following (do not include any quotemarks):

  • by era
  • by culture
  • natsci
