Wikipedia:WikiProject Highways/Peer review/U.S. Route 101 in Washington
I think this article would make a good GA nominations after some improvement. I don't know what kinds of improvement, so I am turning to my fellow editors for help. This is a very good article and considered a high class article for WP:WASH. — ComputerGuy890100Talk to meWhat I've done to help Wikipedia 00:51, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
- Needs a lead expansion.
- Short, choppy paragraphs need to be merged.
- Prose isn't very good in some places
- Needs more references.
- This is at first glance, so I think GA is far off. Juliancolton Tropical Cyclone 00:55, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
I'm not sure what's meant here by "considered a high class article for WP:WASH". The state projects all use the same assessment system, so it's not a "high class" article for just one project. I can think of a few Washington articles that are of much better quality. As for improvements that can be made, I agree wholeheartedly with what JC said above. I would definitely like to see the paragraphs in the route description section merged together so the text doesn't look so choppy. The route description is entirely unreferenced, and really, so is the history section, since Highways of Washington State is not a reliable source. At present, I'd say this is probably further away from being a good article nominee than Washington State Route 531 is (which is still pretty far itself). -- Kéiryn (talk) 02:55, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
