Invite templates

Invite new members! To invite a potential [[WP:FOOD] member, go to their talk page and click "New Section". Then simply type {{subst:FD invitation}} and click "Save Page". The following message will be displayed on their page:

Hello, WikiProject Food and drink.

You are invited to join WikiProject Food and drink, a WikiProject and resource dedicated to improving Wikipedia's coverage of food, drink and cuisine topics.
Please check out the project, and if interested feel free to join by adding your name to the member list. You can also sign up to receive project newsletters and notifications at the notifications list, even if you choose not to join. (Your signature will be automatically generated)

Award Templates

Award Members! To give the WikiProject Food and Drink Barnstar award to a fellow member for their hard work, go to their talk page and click new section, or "+." Then type in {{subst:FD Barnstar Award}} and click "Save Page." That's it! The message would be displayed like this:

		To WikiProject Food and drink for showing huge support and love for WikiProject Food and drink and being a sharp watchdog on the prowl for vandalism -- thanks for your help! ~~~~

Welcome templates

Welcome new members! Once a user has joined WP:RRTF, there are a template available to quickly and easily send them a welcome message. First, go to their talk page and click "New Section". Then simply type one of the two following template IDs and click "Save Page". The appropriate message will be displayed on their page, along with your signature and timestamp and the project banner. See the invite template above for an example of the formatting.

In most cases, {{subst:FD Welcome}} is the simplest and most general form to use. It generates a message which informs new members how best to begin editing and stay informed of project updates.
