Description

This new WikiProject (possibly a sub-project of Wikipedia:WikiProject Computing) is to improve the coverage of mobile devices and mobile computing in general on Wikipedia, with focus on major device platforms (e.g. iOS, Android), companies and manufacturers (e.g. Apple, Samsung, Google), and specific mobile device series and the devices themselves (e.g. iPhone, iPad, Samsung Galaxy). The usage of such products have become as popular as celebrities, and they are taking the world by craze, so please join me here because technology is always changing! Thank you! Why do you want to start a new group, instead of joining one of these existing groups?
Wikipedia:WikiProject Computing broadly discusses computing in general, including PCs and laptops. But the craze is shifting to mobile technology and more and more articles are focusing specifically on these products. Some projects like Wikipedia:WikiProject Apple Inc. are putting too much attention on a particular platform, so a WikiProject is needed here to continually keep these and related articles up to date, as well as bring them up to featured article status as have articles such as Microsoft and Microsoft Windows.
