Description

Similar to Wikipedia:WikiProject Disney, there is a boatload of media relating to 20th Century Studios. Sub Wikiprojects will include one for Searchlight Pictures, and another for Blue Sky Studios ZX2006XZ (talk) 17:18, 1 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Why do you want to start a new group, instead of joining one of these existing groups?
20th Century Studios has plenty of articles of its own that there should definitely be a WikiProject for, and I’m surprised that there already isn’t one. WikiProject Disney would be the closest thing to this WikiProject, but WikiProject Disney does not really focus on 20th century articles like we would.

  1. Late Oppose: While they are notable, this sounds like it would work better as a task force of WikiProject Disney. Most of the movies and media they created would be properly covered by a task force and other parts of Wikipedia that work in these areas. Also, if a 20th Century Studios task force was created as part of WikiProject Disney, it could still be different than the WikiProject it is under. The problem is that WikiProjects like these often go inactive even if they once had a community of contributors. But now people are setting the WikiProject up and I see the number doing it it will probably be active, but when a project goes inactive instead of just sitting there with no activity it should become a task force because then you could still consider it an "area" of another WikiProject. @SlySabre:, @ZX2006XZ:, @Historyday01:, and @Some Dude From North Carolina: — I have gone ahead and created the most important aspects of the project (see Wikipedia:WikiProject 20th Century Studios). So if you want to become a member go ahead and add your signature to the members list and add one of the userboxes, that I might change later, to your userpage.
